Networked System Group was established in 2011, under the Laboratory of Computer Architecture,Advanced Computer System Research Center of Institute of Computing Technology,Chinese Academy of Sciences. Main research direction are data center network-wide datapath optimization, congestion control, network debugging, network topology and routing. Facing the Internet of things, mobile Internet services and other emerging high concurrent low latency application scenarios, our group currently works on the research of key technologies and the development of prototype verification systems for high efficiency and high throughput data center network. We have developed prototypes of customizable data center protocol stack, and high throughput and low latency servers. On all critical parts of datapath, including the gateway, network card, driver, protocol stack, service software, database, etc., we do scheduling based on the content of traffic.
There are 15 members of the Networked System Group, including 1 professor, 1 associate professor, 2 assistant professers, 7 engineers, 1 Ph.D. Candidate, and 5 M.S. Candidates. Our group recently undertakes and participates in the National Key Research and Development Program, the National Natural Science Foundation Project, the Strategic Priority Research Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Huawei and ICT Union Laboratory projects, and has published papers on ISCA and other important conferences or journals.
